Driver & Vehicle Standards
Effective draft: 16 October 2026
Vehicle-condition review is an additional screening step, not an in-person mechanical inspection or legal certification.
Registration checklist
- Four current photographs showing the front, rear, left and right sides of the actual registered vehicle, without misleading editing.
- Valid driver’s licence, professional driving permit (PrDP), proof of residence and matching profile identity.
- Applicable e-hailing operating licence, roadworthiness certificate, vehicle registration/licence disc, and passenger/commercial insurance confirmation.
- Vehicle details including number plate, make, model and condition. Verify that the uploaded documents match the vehicle and driver.
Admin approval
Administrators review documents and photographs privately before granting a new driver approval. Missing, expired, counterfeit, unclear or inconsistent records should result in rejection or further verification. Passing this screen does not waive statutory permitting or inspection requirements.
Ongoing obligations
Keep brakes, tyres, lights, seat belts and safety equipment fit for the road; maintain clean passenger areas; do not drive impaired or dangerously; comply with road traffic rules, e-hailing rules, licensed service areas and relevant insurance obligations. Report any significant vehicle change and upload updated evidence. Platform staff can request renewed documents and may suspend operations pending review.
