Terms of Service

Lengobe connects eligible riders with independent, approved drivers in supported South African service areas. These terms are a draft that requires operator-specific legal review before binding public use.

1. Accounts and eligibility

Provide accurate details, protect your account, and use the service lawfully. Drivers must be legally eligible to transport passengers, carry required permits and insurance, maintain a roadworthy vehicle and submit requested verification documents. Accounts and approval may be withheld or suspended after appropriate review.

2. Requests, quotes and trips

Fares shown before the trip are estimates. A final fare may differ based on actual verified journey distance and duration, subject to displayed pricing rules. A ride is subject to driver availability, service-area restrictions and safety checks. Do not make false pickup, arrival or completion claims.

3. Payments and cancellations

Cash rides are paid to the driver. Card rides use Paystack. A temporary card hold may exceed the initial estimated fare; the actual captured amount must not exceed the authorized hold. Read Payments, Cancellations and Refunds for key conditions. Card payments must be verified before electronic payout balances are treated as collected.

4. Safety and disputes

Drivers and riders must follow road laws, behave respectfully and follow the published Safety Guide. Riders may report a disputed/false pickup and request cancellation after the driver claims arrival. Where there is an emergency, contact South African emergency services directly.

5. Platform and responsibility

Lengobe operates a matching and payment platform. Final responsibility and applicable insurance for operating vehicles and transporting passengers must be clarified in the final signed driver agreement. Nothing in these draft terms removes non-excludable consumer or statutory rights.

6. Complaints and updates

Contact the operator below with your ride reference and the issue. Do not disclose full card details. Terms may be updated with reasonable notice when required. Applicable South African consumer, privacy and transport laws continue to apply.
